Over 50 connectors, all by drag & drop

connubes handles communication with your systems through three kinds of extension. Each is configured to match the target system — without programming. The server licence covers any number of clients, data points and connections.

PLUG-INS

One connection per system type

A plug-in connects to exactly one type of system. You activate only what you need — the licence still covers the whole set.

Control and machine

OPC UA client, server and pub/subThe Industry 4.0 communication standard, in all three roles.
Siemens, Beckhoff, HeidenhainDirect access to common control and CNC families.
Euromap 63 and 77Injection moulding machines via their industry standard.
Sparkplug and MQTTStructured messaging with a defined namespace.
Barcode, RFID and Charm EZIdentification and test equipment at the line.
Ewon FlexyRemote access to plants over secured connections.

Databases

MS SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDBThe common relational systems, reading and writing.
SAP HANADirect connection to the in-memory platform.
MongoDB and InfluxDBDocuments and time series from many sources.
SQLite, Microsoft Access, ODBCFor smaller or older systems that have to keep running.
SnowflakeAnalysing large data volumes away from the plant.

Enterprise systems and cloud

SAP systemsPP, PP-PI, PM and QM — including confirmations from the shop floor.
REST and SOAPThe usual route to modern applications and cloud services.
Azure IoT Hub, AWS, Google Cloud IoTThe three large platforms, each with its own plug-in.
Siemens MindSphere, IBM Watson IoT, ThingWorxVendor platforms for machine and plant data.
Apache KafkaEvent streams for systems that keep reading along.
Microsoft Excel and TeamsReporting and notification where people already work.

Output, alerting and files

Zebra, Domino, Videojet, WolkeLabel and inkjet printing straight from the data transfer.
Windows and TCP/IP printersAlso where no special device is installed.
E-mail via SMTP, Telegram, TwilioAlerting on the channel the shift already reads.
Network and cloud file accessFor systems that only drop data as a file.
OpenWeatherWeather data where it feeds into process control.

ADD-ONS

When the transfer must not pause

Store & ForwardIf the connection drops, connubes buffers the data and delivers it once the target is reachable again. No data loss during maintenance or a network fault.
RedundancyTwo instances watch each other; if one fails the other takes over. For transfers that must not pause.
Enterprise+Manage several servers as one system — for landscapes spanning multiple plants or sites.

ETL TOOLS

Reshaping data on the way

Not every system delivers what the other expects. The ETL tools reshape the data inside the transfer, before it arrives.

XML and XPathPull values from an XML structure without reading the whole file.
JSON and JPathThe same for JSON, as web interfaces deliver it.
CSVRead and write tables — the smallest common denominator of many systems.
.NET and C# scriptFor the rest: your own logic in the transfer when no tool fits.

HOW IT IS BUILT

How a transfer comes together

01

Transfer objects

A transfer connects sources and targets. Every transfer looks the same from the outside; inside it is tailored to the system.

02

Triggers

They decide when a transfer runs: on a schedule, on a value change, on an event or on demand.

03

Browsing

Data fields are looked up in the target system and taken over instead of typed. Whole structures can be read out as well.

FREQUENT QUESTIONS

Answered briefly

Are connectors charged individually?

connubes is licensed per server — regardless of how many clients, data points or connections run over it. Which plug-ins and add-ons are included depends on the scope; we will tell you for your case.

What if my system is not on the list?

Then one of two routes usually works: an open standard the system already speaks (OPC UA, MQTT, REST, SQL), or the ETL tools if it only drops data as a file.

Does the controller have to be reprogrammed?

No. Data is taken through the interfaces the controller already has. Nothing in the plant is modified.

Does it work in both directions?

Yes. Data flows back into production as well — orders from ERP to the line, setpoints to the controller, confirmations to the control room.

A connection missing?

Not every system is listed on this page. Describe your system landscape — we will tell you which plug-ins fit.
